2. Meaning of Recognition

BIHHM recognition indicates alignment with applicable healthcare management and governance frameworks.

Recognition:

• Applies only to approved scopes
• Does not constitute clinical licensure or regulatory authorisation
• Does not imply statutory healthcare authority
• Does not replace CQC registration or other regulatory requirements applicable to healthcare providers

3. Permitted Use

Recognised parties may:

• State "Recognised by BIHHM"
• Reference recognition within approved scopes in professional materials
• Use recognition to demonstrate professional governance standing

All references must be accurate and not misleading.

4. Prohibited Use

Recognised parties must not:

• Claim clinical or regulatory authority through BIHHM recognition
• Misrepresent the scope or nature of recognition
• Use recognition outside approved scopes

5. Enforcement

BIHHM reserves the right to review, suspend, or withdraw recognition where this policy is breached.

6. Acceptance

By accepting or retaining BIHHM recognition, parties confirm acceptance of this policy.
